The 33rd Junior PGA Championship will be played Aug. 13-16 at TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio.

16 Days to Go

Remembering the 2004 Junior PGA Championship:

Angela Park shot a 5-under-par 66 in the final round to win the girls' division by ten-strokes. Daniel Woltman shot a final round 67 and survived a late charge by Brain Maurer to claim victory in the boys' division.

Jennie Lee shot a final round 69 and finished alone in second place in the girls' division.

Marc Gladson finished in third place in the boys' division after turning in a final round 67. Chris DeForest, winner of the 2007 Junior PGA Championship, finished tied for 10th.

The Junior PGA Championship
TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio will host the summer's premier junior championship, the Junior PGA Championship, Aug. 13-16, as The PGA of America celebrates the 33rd edition of a championship that has been the stepping stone for many of today's foremost players.

The inaugural Junior PGA Championship was conducted at the Walt Disney Resort near Orlando, Fla. Since 1976, more than 200,000 juniors have competed on the PGA Section level to earn a berth in the Championship.

The Junior PGA Championship roster of today's PGA and LPGA Tour professionals include 2008 Masters Champion Trevor Immelman, winner of the 1996 Junior PGA Championship, and 2008 Women's Open Champion In-Bee Park, winner of the 2001 and 2002 Junior PGA Championship.

The field of 156 players will be comprised of one boy and one girl champion from each of the 41 PGA Sections, winners of selected national junior tournaments conducted earlier in the year and past Junior PGA Championship winners who have not reached their 19th birthday and have not started college.
