PGA Disaster Relief

The PGA of America is here to help those personally affected by COVID-19 through PGA Disaster Relief. This program provides PGA Members reimbursement for out of pocket expenses incurred as the result of acute, serious illness, accidents, natural disasters and other emergencies not otherwise covered by insurance or other relief programs. This includes out of pocket medical expenses for serious situations, like hospitalizations, related to COVID-19.

PGA Members can also make contributions to the funds to assist those in need through the link above. Additionally, new government programs have recently come out that we are researching and will continue to monitor to see how they can best benefit our membership.

Please note: The PGA Disaster Relief Fund is a separate initiative from the Golf Emergency Relief Fund.

The PGA Disaster Relief Fund was established for PGA Professionals nationwide who are faced with temporary financial problems due to serious medical emergencies or the impact of natural disasters. This includes out of pocket medical expenses for serious situations, like hospitalizations, related to COVID-19.

The Golf Emergency Relief Fund, outlined here, is responding specifically to the severe challenges impacting golf communities nationwide with an immediate focus on those impacted by COVID-19. This fund was launched on April 13, 2020 to provide short-term financial relief to eligible workers in the golf industry, including PGA Professionals, who face significant financial hardship.
